Good news for all those concerned about the safety of the building known as Ramprastha Primera, Sector 37D, Gurugram! The DTCP has ordered an audit of the structure of the whole community.
This follows a genuine concern by the residents about the state of the building, particularly the balconies and the projections. This is good news indeed!
What Exactly Did DTCP Order?
These directions were given directly to the firm called Ramprastha Promoters & Developers Pvt. Ltd. These directions have been given by the District Town Planner (Enforcement) Mr. Amit Madholia.
And what do you know? The developer has to bear all the expenses. Not even a rupee for the residents!
The Audit Details
- The audit must begin within 15 days
- It will be carried out by one of four empanelled structural engineers
- These engineers work under a committee headed by Gurgaon’s additional deputy commissioner
- The whole thing is a colony-wide check, not just a quick look
What Must the Developer Fix?
The order is wonderfully clear and comprehensive. The developer must resolve all issues identified by the inspection.
Here’s the full to-do list for Ramprastha Promoters & Developers:
- Repair all balconies — occupied and vacant apartments alike
- Fix cracks and plaster defects
- Correct all structural and allied deficiencies
- Keep the building safe and stable during repair work
- Cover every rupee of the cost themselves
Serious Warnings for the Developer
No holds were barred by DTCP in this case. The developer is now responsible for any problems that arise.
Should anything untoward happen through negligence or non-compliance with the order, the complete onus falls on the developer.
Should they fail to comply with the order? Then legal proceedings will commence, no warning needed.
Why Now? The Trigger Behind the Order
The complaints were officially filed on Friday, July 11, 2026, due to the security concerns of the residents.
However, this was not the only thing that made the timing of the orders important.
These orders came after just one day when the balcony collapsed from Tower E of Imperia Esfera Phase II in Sector 37C. This collapsed balcony almost hit a kid.
